Making a feathered Line


1) New document,
Background hex:#E7E8DA; Foreground:#999999
Make a line of pixel long like the pic.
 
2) Select the top part and feather
it about 7 pixels first time then
move your selections up about
5 pixel then feather it
again same amount.
 
3) Repeat step 3 for the bottom.
 
4) Give it a drop shadow and
thats it....
 
5) You can duplicate your layer
and give it a strong feel
with a multiply layer effect. .
