7- With Photoshop I cut out a tree in one of the photos provided by popphoto.com and tried desperately to make it fit into the landscape. It looked terrible, so I got rid of the trees. Instead of using the photo, I decided to paint the trees using custom brushes specifically made for the trees. Taking this route allowed me more control over the final look of the piece. I repositioned different elements of the image to draw the viewer to the sunset.
