| Grunge Effect | ||

1) Get an image whatever size you like Background color #D4BE93. |

Filter --> Sharpen --> Sharpen shift + Ctrl + u (desaturate) just to give that black & white look to your image. |

Image --> Adjustments --> Brightness/Contrast Play around with
the setting till you see something you like. Here I used these simple settings: +100 for both :) your layers should be looking like this image on the left. |

4)
Now you can either try and get rid of the white color in your image with
the Magic wand tool (w) or just apply a layer effect (multiply)
and the white is gone :) You can use part of this image as grunge effect in your other images. |
