Alien Orb


1) Open a new document 100 X 100 white background. New Layer,
Grab the Elliptical Marquee Tool (M)
Make a faily round circle to get
an exact circle use the
shift key while making the circle.
Get the Paint Bucket Tool (G)
use this colors hex: #9DC342

 
2) Now go to the round layer, with your mouse right click the layer and choose blending option go down to the bottom and check stroke, then use these settings.
 
3) Now get the Brush Tool (B),
choose smooth brush size 27, and get
the flow setting at the top of your menu bar next to opacity to 57%. Make a
new layer and go to the top of your round circle and make a dot
just like the pic on your left.
 
4) Make a new layer, Grab your Brush Tool (B) choose 17 as size same
flow as before 57% and place
another dot next one already there.
 
5) New layer, Grab the Elliptical Marquee Tool (M) go to the left part of your round circle and make a circle like on the left image. Grab the Gradient Tool (G) Set the foreground color to white then change your gradient option to "foreground to transparent" then apply a vertical gradient starting from the top of the selection to the center of button.
 
6) Duplicate the layer then go to Image --> Adjustments --> Hue/Saturation and use these settings Hue:68; Saturation:100; Lightness:-22 apply then move the layer to the center of the round button check left image then change the layer effect to Color Dodge.
 
7) Make a new layer, Grab your Brush Tool (B) choose 27 as size same flow as before 57% and place in the middle, then go to Image --> Adjustments --> Hue/Saturation and use these settings Hue:68; Saturation:100; Lightness:-22. Grab the Smudge Tool (R) If you prefer better the Pointing finger check that the Stength in the top status under menu next to Mode is at 50% then smudge away to cover the bottom of the round circle and the side check image on the left set the layer effect to Color Dodge.
 
8) Duplicate the layer to give it more glow effect merge the whole layers together.
 

9) Duplicate the layer and give it Color Burn as a layer effect Duplicate the layer as much as you like till you get the desired effect and dont forget change the layer effect for a different look and you done :)
